They are being cheeky F*ckers so call em out on it. I did a summer job at the main supplier of these shops Palmer and harvey was the name of the company at the time.

They do have the option of buying what is called non flashed stock from the supplier. What they have done is paid less for the discounted stock and stiil charged a higher price making a much larger profit counting on people not to make a fuss.

I normally point this out to the shop keeper as i hand them the price flashed on the stock. I've never had a shop keeper answer back when i've said that to em. Mind you i'm not a little chap so it may be that and not the fact that i am in the right of course..
