scottish people pay tax too, and are surely entitled to the benefits that doing so brings.
bank of scotland was bought by halifax a long time ago, nothing to do with the governemnt.
and the royal bank of scotland wasnt just given money, the government purchased shares in it, for which it expects a hefty return.
if you dont like alex salmond then fair enough, i'm not his biggest fan either, but this is a ridiculous argument.
