Though she played a youngster in the railway children she was about 20 when they filmed it. Apparently the crew had to keep quiet about her smoking and drinking with them in the local.

Actually, that was Sally Thomsett (later of "Man About The House"), who played Phyllis that was 20 and they had to keep her age secret. Although Agutter was 18 at the time, Thomsett was playing her younger sister, so they had to maintain the illusion.
