At a reputable software companyAs I walked toward the building, two men stumbled along behind me from the pub, reeking of beer and talking about football. In my suit I gave the two men the filthiest look I could for stagnating in a pub instead of being at work.
They followed me to the door.
They followed me up the stairs.
The receptionist (my girlfriend's mother) looks at one of the men as they walk through the door and says: "Hello Mark. Got a call for you on line two."
Mark was the CEO.
Long story short: Got the job but didn't take it. Fuck a 12 hour work day for a laugh.
