The problem with anthropogenic global warmingis that it will never go away because the human population is increasing so rapidly.
However, bird flu has the potential to kill a goodly chunk of the population should it mutate into a form which is transmissible between humans. If you believe the scaremongers, at least.
So it may yet be the salvation of the planet. So long as I don't catch it, or indeed any of you other b3tards, of course!
