@StuMooInteresting point. I also recently heard that putting out the various uncontained underground coal fires (such as the one in Centralia, Pennsylvania - www.offroaders.com/album/centralia/centralia.htm) would curb greenhouse gas emissions more than anything we could do to our cars. I wonder if there is any truth to that...
