yeah probably,but putting out those kind of fires is pretty much impossible.
The best reason I see for making transport of the non-oil burning variety is that oil is becoming ludicrously expensive ($102/barrel at this time) and it's only going to get worse.
Looks like global warming is going to happen whatever we do (we can do stuff to make it less bad), although luckily it hasn't been of the 'runaway' variety and global temperature has been stable for 10 years.
