This is a question Mix Tapes

Everyone's made a mix tape (or CD, USB stick, or whatever kids do these days). Mostly to get in someone else's pants, but we're sure there are other, lesser, reasons too.

So, who did you make it for and why?
And... what was on it?

absolutely true
While at school, I made a mix tape for a girl who I wanted to impress. I was not very sophisticated in my musical tastes and so I just recorded whatever was popular in the charts at that time. I wrote all the bands and song titles on the inlay card and presented it to her one Friday at school.

She popped it in her walkman and started to listen. But within a few moments, she was dead. Unknown to anyone, she was allergic to frenetic combinations of repeated bass notes, which caused her synapses to overload, killing her as surely as an anvil dropped from a hot-air balloon.

It was Level 42 that did it - that diddly-diddly-diddly-diddly bassline that was in all of their songs. They even named the condition after the song: "Lessons in Love Syndrome." To date, she is the only person to have died of it, though I have read about a woman in Alberta, Canada, who was killed by a snatch of Ronan Keating's nasal warblings. And there is a rumour that Roy Scheider of Jaws fame was actually killed by a live rendition of "The Final Countdown" performed by a band of travelling gypsies.

True story:-
someone topped themselves after getting the hook from Tears for Fears "everybody wants to rule the world" stuck in their head constantly for six weeks.

Maybe urban myth.
