Your open letter to the mods is wasted. If they wanted rid of your accusees they would have taken action without your prompting, unless maybe you think nobody is watching us.
I think the people you mention provide a valuable service of making sure the rest of us don't get too pompous They've certainly helped me in that respect.
You don't even have to use ignore to avoid being upset. You have identified people whose posts you don't want to read. Dont read them!
