Yep......Aylesbury. The Dark Lantern was also known as Drug Land back in the days of the Friars rock club.

Gay old Aylesbury......I was in Aylesbury last year on one of my infrequent visits to the town I used to call home.
Didn't visit that pub but I guess 'Mango' is a clever name for a gay bar.
I guess a lesbian only bar could be called "No Mangoes"?
When I was a teenager the only gay pub was opposite the Odeon cinema. The local yobs coming out of the Odeon took great delight in bashing anyone who used that pub.
