This is a question Pet Names

I once knew a cat called Lenin. It got diarrhea so they renamed it Trotsky. Tell us the name of your pet - but only if you've got an amusing or interesting reason for it. Tiddles need not apply.

My cat is called Daughey.
Not as is 'Doghey', more like saying Dorothy without moving your mouth. Try it.

And yes, there is a semi-interesting story as to why she's called Daughey. She was originally called Corriander, after my Dad's favourite herb. But then one day something happened which always happens with cats - you step on them.

You know what it's like. It's midnight and the cat has managed to blend into the carpet, just so you can step on it. Or it hides under the table, and then jumps out UNDERNEATH your feet. Well, it did the latter to my brother who consequently stepped on him.

In a moment of madness he said:
'Sorry Daughey.', presumably 'cos it rhymed. And for those who have watched Finding Nemo, our Daughey is the first and only Daughey, 100% of fact.
