This is a question Phobias

What gives you the heebie-jeebies?

It's a bit strong to call this a phobia, but for me it's the thought of biting into a dry flannel. I've no idea why I'd ever want to or even get the opportunity to do so, seeing as I don't own one, but it makes my teeth hurt to think about it. *ewww*

Tell us what innocent things make you go pale, wobbly and send shivers down your spine.

Bananas.
The cartoon Bananaman. I was terrified of him as a kid. I would run out of the room screaming as soon as he came on TV. As a result, I used to avoid eating bananas in case they made me, like that poor Eric, turn into the yellow-and-blue suited monster. I can only just about handle them now... Hm.

i went to a law society quiz (we won. i don't know why i think this is a good thing) recently and the question was:

who lives at 1600 pennsylvania avenue?

and before we could answer, one of the PARTNERS of the firm jumped up and yelled, "bananaman".

he has never lived this down. wasn't it "acacia avenue"??

Surely not?
Bananaman was my hero!

And yes, it was Acacia Avenue. Number 9 if I remember rightly!
