This is a question Political Correctness Gone Mad

Freddy Woo writes: "I once worked on an animation to help highlight the issues homeless people face in winter. The client was happy with the work, then a note came back that the ethnic mix of the characters were wrong. These were cartoon characters. They weren't meant to be ethnically anything, but we were forced to make one of them brown, at the cost of about 10k to the charity. This is how your donations are spent. Wisely as you can see."

How has PC affected you? (Please add your own tales - not five-year-old news stories cut-and-pasted from other websites)

This is a QotW answer Not sure if this has already been posted but...
But Stewart Lee has a great bit of stand up on this, although the link itself is rather more serious.

This is a QotW comment Doesn't make sense...
The "if you want a nigger for a neighbour, vote Labour" campaign was fought in Smethwick in 1964, Stewart Lee would have been -4 then.

An interesting link though. My family are from Smethwick, and as ardent Labour supporters fought against the Tories. The Tories won the seat with that campaign, but only held it for two years. Andrew Faulds took it in 1966, and held it for nearly 30 years until his retirement. A terrible campaign, later recycled by the BNP in fact.

Mr Lee has obviously never worked for the council. Was Marting Luther King one of the PC crew? I think he's mistaking a bunch of white folk in a 'think tank' with blacks who actually got themselves killed for equality.
These people have done nothing good at all in my opinion in the past two decades.
