PremonitionsWhen I was 14 I had a really scary dream about being run over. A few days later, as I gently bounced off the front of a volvo who seemed incapable of indicating, I found this vaguely reassuring.

ah, teenagers.Last week while sitting on the big, yellow concentration camp on wheels we Americans call the "school bus," the kid in front of me was talking about how he likes to go really fast in his oversized SUV with all his friends. I said "I'll be laughing when you get into a crash, you dumbass." No more than 24 hours later he and his friends ended up in a ditch in the woods, each of them with at least one broken bone, due to having gone an estimated 70mph(112km) over the speed limit with no seatbelt.
