This is a question Public Transport Trauma

Completely Underwhelmed writes, "I was on a bus the other day when a man got on wearing shorts, over what looked like greeny grey leggings. Then the stench hit me. The 'leggings' were a mass of open wounds, crusted with greenish solidified pus that flaked off in bits as he moved."

What's the worst public transport experience you've ever had?

Right now
I am stuck in Bath train station where some inconsiderate person has decided that pills are too easy on everyone and decided to jump in front of my train instead. Just because you want to end your life why ruin the life of the driver and delay the rest of us.

This is the second time in my last three train journeys that this has happened.

Public transport is bad enough without this.

My advice, if you need to kill yourself then the cornershop will gladly sell you as many pills as you like.

well, since you ask
overdoses don't always work, especially if you're depending on the 16 paracetamol the cornershop can legally sell you. Being hit by a train usually does work.

If you're suicidal - and I hope you never are - you tend not to worry about everyone else, since your capability of feeling normal emotion has long deserted you and you're trying very hard not to be alive.

So that's probably why.

CHCB's right
When my friend was suicidal, she wasn't thinking straight. She really didn't care about the consequences to others.

Edit: That said, I do understand your frustration entirely, and those that commit suicide-by-train or suicide-by-car should, if caught, be given all the help and support they need, without exceptions. The poor unfortunate bastards.

er
can we substitute "those that commit suicide-by-train or suicide-by-car should, if caught, be locked up, without exceptions. Selfish bastards"

Done
I admit that was quite harsh, and unjustified.
