This is a question Public Transport Trauma

Completely Underwhelmed writes, "I was on a bus the other day when a man got on wearing shorts, over what looked like greeny grey leggings. Then the stench hit me. The 'leggings' were a mass of open wounds, crusted with greenish solidified pus that flaked off in bits as he moved."

What's the worst public transport experience you've ever had?

I applaud you
A double hit is mightily impressive, and it's how my friend got a broken toe.

I thought it was going to result in the handbag getting damaged or somesuch horror.

Well
It actually was fairly impressive yet boring.

We were at a ceilidh, and someone managed to spin round and land perfectly on his big toe with huge heels.

She didn't seem to notice, continued to spin, and managed to hit exactly the same spot with the other heel.

By the time we got his shoe off his whole toe was purple. Very, very purple.

I also managed to punch someone in the stomach that night, and throw someone into a wall.

It was mighty impressive
It healed fine too, so it wasn't bad.

The person who got hit in the stomach took quite a while to get their breath back, but was fine eventually. The one who got thrown into the wall was a bit sore for a while, but was fine too.

So all in all, lots of fun, with very few consequences.
