but i think his sentiments are positive. The last time I was asked to go out on a 'Wahey, lets get totally pished on booze, leer at woman and generally be lewd and slightly obnoxious, but in a non aggressive way' night out, i was left feeling hollow and overwhelmingly, underwhelmed.

Surrounded by desperate, leering halfwits, battering back the alcamahol as if it was going out of fashion.

The music was so bad it doesn't deserve a description, and loud in a way that a good club never is.

The drink had NO positive attributes whatsoever, it made idiots more idiotic, perverts more perverted, twats more twattish, slappers more.....erm slapperish, bores more boring and violent idiots more violently idiotic.

I much prefer a wee drink at home, with friends of my choosing, music i like at a volume i find agreeable. I can play darts without fear of one in the face, i can go to the toilet without being begged at and i can sit down and relax, unmolested.

A good, out of the way nightclub that plays good tunes through a solid soundsystem with clientelle that don't judge you on what you wear or how you dance. People who are there to enjoy themselves as opposed to see, and be seen. People who aren't tightly devoted to any one 'scene' and are open to suggestion and new styles of music...These are the people and surroundings i prefer to spend my hard earned free time in.

Whether they take drugs or not, this is an infinitely more pleasurable night out.
