This is a question I Quit!

Scaryduck writes, "I celebrated my last day on my paper round by giving everybody next door's paper, and the house at the end 16 copies of the Maidenhead Advertiser. And I kept the delivery bag. That certainly showed 'em."

What have you flounced out of? Did it have the impact you intended? What made you quit in the first place?

I also
had a favourite spoon at my old dishwashing job.

It was not at all like the other spoons (the poor thing), being far more pointy and really not suited for soup consumption at all. Needless to say I felt so terribly sorry for it since I'm sure it was ridiculed on a daily basis by the other, more popular and standard spoons in any number of cruel, heartless ways. Each day I wished for the courage to take the rejected little fellow away from all that and give it a good home in my cutlery drawer, away from all the hate and utensil bigotry...

Then I realized it was a fork.
