This is a question Crappy relationships

"Recently," Broken Arrow tells us, "The missus informed me that her brother was moving with us." What has your partner done that's convinced you the magic's gone? "Breathe" is not an answer.

Amazing timing
Just a few days ago my wife walked out, taking the kids with her. That's a pretty strong hint that the magic's gone. The confusing bit is that she's cooking meals for me and bringing them round.

Well she LOVES you but she's not IN LOVE with you
Sorry to hear that though. Shitty times. Ask her what the 'cooking meals' shite is all about. When you're ready, next time she comes round tell her you're not hungry as you already cooked something yourself.

Even better
Tell her someone else cooked something for you.

If the missus left me and was bringing food around, I would also suspect poison.

Ouch!
Yep, agree with above (not in love).

Either get her back or get it over with quickly. The longer you go on the more bitter it gets, especially where children are involved.

Keep us posted - been there, done that and mine is going to trial on the 1st of Dec.

Ok, 2 questions here I think
1. Where did she move out to?

2. Is she still doing the dishes as well?

her mother's
She has said she'll return next week. Things have been massively stressful for months so hopefully the break will help. I'm not sure she'll last a whole week, even my wife admits her mother is unbearable.

Don't forget the bag of laundry...
...and, is she taking orders?

I don't know, mate
I wouldn't make any sudden moves. It happened to me and after a year apart we're back together.

Perhaps, if you're like me, there are behaviors that need changing and the means she has used to try and get you to change have not worked up until now.

I had to take a long look at my life and where I wanted to be in 30 years and with whom. Did I want to be alone? Did I want to share my kids with some other dude during Christmas/Easter/Thanksgiving/July 4th, etc? Or were the things I was doing so important to me that I had to hold onto them and lose her and the kids.

May not be apropos, but sometimes it's good to be a bit introspective.
