thing is i always expected iti totally understand how grim it is if you don't. i covered a lot of ground in those days and like to walk so it was no big deal. to have to do it with no warning is grim. i had to do 5 miles thorugh manchester a while back with no warning. i was not a happy bunny.
edit: i seem to be ending everything with a pithy sentence. how odd.
