Pretty sureI saw this post on another QOTW, save that it was supposed to have begun with drinking in the UK. Was not too long ago, but maybe I just misread it.

I don't think I've posted it before;but if I had, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have made the UK the starting point. His anecdote was good enough without embellishment.
EDIT: Oh, I have told it before (b3ta.com/questions/nightsoutgonewrong/post1133438). And only in March, as well. Damn my aged memory.
