I once went to Basildon. It was closed, I got chased by a bunch of knuckle-dragged yobs until I was lost in a maze of concrete alleyways and got food poisoning off pie. Tell us about the awful places you've visited or have your home.

Some of Greenock is nice, but most of it isn't. The 'Bow' was a nightmare, and Barr's Cottage, which is nothing to do with the company that made Irn Bru and has no Cottage. As for Port Glasgow, it makes Greenock look posh.
