my wife ran her Seat Ibiza Diesel on cooking oil fine
Believe it or not cooking oil brand new from the shops is cheaper than diesel per litre !!
The only issues we had were the in line fuel filters becoming blocked quicker but these were easy to replace.

As for recycling used cooking oil
that i have always thought is too much work
time and dangerous equipment for too little a gain.

Even Biodiesel's not good, though I'm not quite sure why.
