Scars with historyYou've all got scars: they're nature's little reminders not to be so damned stupid next time. My favourite is the 1/4" round hole in the back of my right hand, created when I was 7 by my best friend putting a manure-covered gardening fork "away".

Drunk at the pubplaying darts set the scene, In my stupor I'd pulled off a nice pair of treble twenties, not sure how but maybe the luck was the last bit that day, my friend had lined up and as I was informing a friend of my fortune as I removed the dart from the board, there was an odd tingling sensation in the base of my thumb, funniest thing was when i was removing my mates dart from my thumb it was so far embedded in my thumb that when i did yank it out i also put my knuckle out of joint. tiny scar mind, reasonable story
