This is a question Social Networking Gaffes

Freddy Woo writes, "My school bully just friended me on Facebook!" No doubt he pokes him, and then demands his lunch money.

Personally, last month a scantily clad young woman confused me with her fiance, with whom I share a first and last name. I'm still not sure she's noticed, but she's going to be mortified when she does.

What's the biggest mistake you've made using a social networking site?

They were cunts..
..for snooping on your personal life, whatever you wrote about them or anyone. Better off out of there if they are trying to encroach on that; granted it's pretty common practise these days for companies to internet-stalk their employees. It's been a contributary factor in my walking out of a few jobs. Could I really be prosecuted for dissing them online? Cos I have, and anyone can read it if they know my username on the right message boards. Actually, fuck it, they can try and prosecute me - I wont pay a penny until I'm thrown in jail and the case gets some exposure. This sort of thing really winds me up as I've been in similar situations to you, just without the sacking.
