My School...
Was apparently haunted by a multitude of ghosts. (Apologies in advance for the rambling length...)

To elaborate: my high school was one of those ones that consists of four buildings...the main one of which was previously a convent and a manor house belonging to the rich toffs of the town.

In this particular block, there were reputedly at least ten ghosts, including a headless nun that lurks around by what is now a stationary cuboard. Apparently my RE teacher (a nun, as it happens...) once opened said cupboard and was greeted with the sight of a dismembered head in a nuns veil sitting on the shelf.

Ones that I experienced personally though...

While sitting in a history lesson in this building, I and my friend both heard footsteps walking up and down the stairs outside the door. Could have been the 6th formers, as the stairs were right outside their common room.... but when I went outside the room the footsteps were still going and there was nobody there....

Also involving those stairs was the incident of the cold spot. They were the kind of stairs that you could stand underneath. Whenever I did, I always got really cold for no reason, even in summer.It was weird...

Last one: There used to be two doors at the far end of my history room, both of which had been painted shut long ago. Somehow I knew, without doubt, that they had led to a library of some sort. Which, I found out later, they did.

Spooky? Maybe.
