I know why she did it.At the mere age of 19, she was living the lifestyle of a 30 year old and as such realised, that despite having a kid, nice boyfriend, money, and a settled life.. She had in fact not lived and there was so much she wanted to go out and do and experience that she was no longer capable of.
In essence, she felt trapped in this perfect world that everyone seems to think that they want - as I described in my original post.
