Mistaken IdentityI had my work experience in a barristers' chambers, but I basically ended up wandering around and watching court cases for two weeks. During this time, despite the fact that I was 16, had a lost expression on my face, and was dressed in a suit that looked like an Oxfam reject, I was mistaken for:
A Press Officer
An Interpreter
A Parole Officer
and, most gallingly, when turning up to the trial of a 50 year old balding thug for Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm; the defendant.
