This is a question Failed Projects

You start off with the best of intentions, but through raging incompetence, ineptitude or the plain fact that you're working in IT, things go terribly wrong and there's hell to pay. Tell us about the epic failures that have brought big ideas to their knees. Or just blame someone else.

there are no good guilds; just a bunch of cliquey "in jokey" whiners.

Bit like /talk then...

This happened to me too..
Kinda made me a bit paranoid

The most recent one morphed from a casual guild into a hardcore nag-fest

I hadn't played for a week or so and I logged on to find messages in my mailbox demanding my presence at various raids.

I also logged on at 9pm One of the guild guys starts having a go telling me I have to be logged on at 730.

"Sorry I've already got a job"

--sitting duck has left the guild

pricks

Glad, I'm not the only one
Gently explaining to them that you have a real life job and responsibilities often serves to inflame rather than soothe their rage. "When 14 year old boys go serious business..."
