# paypal are cunts
2 years I`ve been with them, using my credit card to fund stuff (buying random shit off ebay mainly) when they suddenly decided they were changing all their policies

"you must now be verified to use paypal" - which means giving them my bank details - no fucking chance; you get full internet fraud protection with a credit card and they want direct access to your bank account?

I hope somebody hurries up and knocks them off the top spot before I have to buy anything online again

# Quick I hear they're selling Star War figurines on Ebay ;)

# hmm.. I think I can still "spend" 4 quid before I`m spent (!)
bunch of wankers.. wonder if they can change their terms like that without explicit customer agreement

must dig through my ancient e-mails when I get home and see what the original sign-up said

# baddum-tish

it`s just a pain in the arse that I can`t use paypal any more

there`s no way on this earth I`m giving out bank details to anyone other than my family

/biological family, not Mafia family

# Yes it does all sound very intrusive
they would probably argue that it was to ensure security but most obviously it's because they want to be able to access your account should you refuse to pay them their dividend. I got badgered by Ebay for a lousy £1 something for a sale that was never went ahead, but eventually I paid them to shut them wingeing like little bitches.

# oh yeah if I`d had to put my bank details in when I signed up over 2 years ago I wouldn`t have bothered
but they`ve taken a valued customer who never gave them any grief and made him want to leave

but you could be right they might want direct debit access to my account, and they ain`t getting the steam off my piss in that case! :)

# yip
I can`t do jack shit on there now, unless I can find something costing 4 quid as that`s all I have left

hopefully google`ll release their payment thing sometime soon and put the frighteners up them

# yup
there is something rather sinister about having
(ie being forced) to release your bank details.
