Haha.
*imagines no-one will recognise the film*
Better than the other two though. Naqoyqatsi is especially terrible.

I did at least leave the filename :)
So Powaqatsi and the other one not up to much?

Not seen Powaqatsi, but from the looks of the description its in a similar vein to koyaanisqatsi.
Naqoyqatsi on the other hand is loads of really crap digital effects which wouldn't look out of place in tron or a really really early special effects picture.
Despite the fact it was made in 2002.

No,
I mean yeah. This is a great idea, if we ALL do it. And if anyone actually has the time to read any of the answers before they drop off the page then we have failed.

qoyannisqaatsi
or however its spelt and powaqaatsi as said before are AWESOMELY rich in photography, and if you like Philip Glass' music, then theres that to overwhelm you too

I hate those *qaatsi films, Philip Glass couldn't make decent music to save his fucking life
Baraka is so much better

Do you post film reviews on LoveFilm?

I recommend it
So long as you don't mind the randomness of the delivery order. High priority mostly works, too

baraka's just full of spacked out indians performing rituals
koyaanisqatsi focusses on the subject of 'what the hell are we doing'. Better subject imho.
Both filmed by the same man btw.

to be fair
the whole point of the film is to NOT be about anything and provoke the viewer into his own interpretation.

Music and image-wise I mean.
