The screen is High Definition 1080pbut look out for the Bluray Disc version to get the maximum from the screen - I have a standard DVD on mine. If you haven't got the cash straight up consider getting a Mobile Broadband package from PC World at a cost of £40 per month the laptop is only £400 with the 3 network - Cheaper with some other networks like T-Mobile.
