This is a question Controversial Beliefs

Some mugs still think the MMR injection gives children autism (it doesn't), while others are of the belief that we're ruled by billionaire lizard people. Tell us about views outside the mainstream which people go glassy eyed if you bang on about them (Your grandad's a racist - no need to tell us, thanks)

I think there's a spectrum:

Knowledge: subject to revision as new information comes in, without problem.

Belief: can be revised, but with difficulty and reluctance.

Faith: doesn't handle conflicting information well; extreme reluctance to change.

Blind Faith: violent resistance to change, even in the face or directly conflicting evidence.

"Knowledge: subject to revision"
Like I said - semantic.

You can only know something if
a) you believe it to be true
and
b) it is true (and demonstrably so).

Thus, knowledge can be increases, but not changed, whilst beliefs change all the time.
