I honestly don't know how you manage not seeing your daughter.
My wife & daughter have been away for ten days. Longest I have ever been apart from my daughter and it has made me fucking miserable.

I knew I would miss her, but didn't realise how much; to the extent I nearly burned a grand last Friday on flying to join them just for the weekend. Have agreed with Mrs Battered that she won't do such a long trip away again like that. It's been truly horrible.
