There's a guy here who, I maintain, if you'd written his character and some of his behaviour into the original UK version of The Office
he would have been edited out for being too unrealistic.

He's in his mid 40s, and dresses in old, stained tracksuit bottoms and polo shirts, he has HORRIBLY stained and cracked front teeth, his voice - oh god his voice! It's a sneering, sarcastic bored constant monotone, punctuated by patronising sighs, because he's more intelligent than everyone, because he's ... a programmer. He allows his wispy hair and beard to grow for three to six months at a time, then takes it all off.

Further to this, given any opportunity, he'll tell you about the girls he's slept with, and how the gay guys at work all fancy him.

Of course, he's also keen for everyone to know that he's studied ninjitsu, Tai Kwon Do and Karate, and could kill you if he wanted. He's quite, quite wonderful as long as you don't have to encounter him.
