I'm probably biased but.....Having studied three martial arts to a relatively competent level in my 52 years on this planet I'd look for an Aikido class, preferably one that trains hard. It's by no stretch of the imagination a 'quick fix' but it's a devastating martial art if you have to use it 'in the gravest extreme'. I came to it in my early thirties after a decade or so of the more punchy kicky type of MA's and I never looked back.
