Happy Sunday knuckle-draggers
Despite saying never again when I finished my masters last year (jobs and degrees are HARD together), I am now sniffing around for something else to learn. What course would you take?

Alt: my local tesco is selling sledges. In august. Is there really nothing left between now and Christmas??

None. I finished school before most of you whippersnappers were even BORN. And I DON'T want to go back.
Alt: Halloween and Bonfire Night.

if I could do it at the same time as working I'd do a Phd
but I can't :(

I love learning new things, next week I'm doing a workshop in glass jewellery. I'd also like to learn to sing, play guitar, do more textiles courses, learn to work with glass. Oh! and if I had the time and brain for it, I'd love to do sciences. I think if I became rich enough never to have to work again, I would just spend my life learning things

You should learn humility, failing that, ninjutsu

Morning Swipey and how the very devil are you?
Have a year off from it and live at a slower pace with time for reflection, Read a lot and from that year you'll find something you want to learn.
I'd study guitar making, there's courses all over the world that I'd take but they are all full-time residential and between 1 month and a year long and, unfortunately, I have to earn a living.

Alt: Don't worry, by the time november comes the Easter eggs will be on the shelves.

Ninja edit - As above, why not try a martial arts class? Good for confidence and there's fit guys there that are less likely to be closet gayers. Just sayin' like.

I'm probably biased but.....
Having studied three martial arts to a relatively competent level in my 52 years on this planet I'd look for an Aikido class, preferably one that trains hard. It's by no stretch of the imagination a 'quick fix' but it's a devastating martial art if you have to use it 'in the gravest extreme'. I came to it in my early thirties after a decade or so of the more punchy kicky type of MA's and I never looked back.

Waste of time right now
I'm doing some of our training contract interviews next week. We have 150 applicants for every place. Everyone seems to think law is a safe haven but there are no jobs there either!
