Center Parcs is OK actually. You will get mugged unless you take absolutely everything you might need with you, but it's possible to escape from the kids and families by walking in the woods, or by fishing or bike riding. I'd prefer to go camping or stay in a B&B or cottage somewhere where you could also do those things, but CP is better than any other sort of holiday park at least.

Yeah disposable BBQ's are like a tenner.Not that I think we'll have many of them in October.
