# Haha fuck
Cel-eb-rate good times, come on.

# where the fuck have you been?
and if you don't get a reply it's cos my internet connection sucks and my nose is bucketing blood.

i don't know if these facts are related.

# Mostly I tried to avoid the internet for a little while during my finals.
Hilariously, however, I have broken this pledge approximately 62 hours before what will be my most difficult exam ever.

Now, boris - this is extremely important - do you have a PhD in econometrics and are you willing to help me?

Alt question: Still Norwegian? What time's it getting dark these days?

And what the hell is wrong with your nose?

# That doesn't sound like a bad idea
Except the coming back on 62 hours before your exam. Especially when I know jack about econometrics. I do know that currently it's nice and sunny out there at quarter to eleven and that night will fall at roughly half one in the morning or so (tonight is a calm night for me, I'm watching South Park and Yes Minister here. Tomorrow I plan on persuading a certain Russian lady to join me for a drink and music), and I know that I now speak about ten words of Norwegian, but not econometrics :(

Also, I don't know what's wrong with my nose. It just started bucketing blood. Ten minutes and a soaked wad of tissue later, it's fine but sensitive. Last time this happened was in a particle physics lecture eight years back. That was a shit lecture.

# Here is the Norwegian I know: Takk! Takk!
It's a shame that you don't know anything about econometrics because I'm pretending that I returned to the internet precisely so I could ask you about it. I'm not angry, I'm just etc.

Good luck with your Russian lady. And with your nose as well. At least you're nasally menstruating now and not when you're out with the Russian lady, eh?

I shall now return to econometrics (feeling quite let down, natch). When one finds oneself revising for one's undergraduate exam using University of Minnesota second year PhD lecture notes, one begins to suspect one chose too difficult a module.

# Alas, sometimes on learns these things too late
I got to Germany and was told to tutor a course in diploma-level Statistical Mechanics. At this point I thought a diploma was equivalent to an undergrad degree. I had a very nasty shock when I found it's equivalent to a Masters, and that my Statistical Mechanics course at uni was fucking rubbish.

Anyway, best of luck with that. I *could* teach you all about general relativity, causal horizons, black holes, cosmology and the fundamental nature of the universe, but not econometrics :( Unless you can express it as an effective manifold endowed with a metric.

As for the Russian lady, I certainly am very grateful that I'm peeing blood from my nose tonight and not tomorrow. It's not the best look. Maybe I'll go and buy a red shirt, just in case.

# I now demand a series of funny, non threatening images explaining to me the fundamental natures of the universe.

# ooh, that's a big job
and one well worth doing. i'm in no state to start now but start hassling me over the next few days whenever i'm on b3ta and i'll get right onto it. this could be my life's work.
