There was a documentary on at about the time that Pope John Paul II was visiting Mexico. They took a trip around the slums and showed all the good catholics doing what they were told; relying on the rhythm method, fucking, and winding up with another child that they couldn't afford 'cos the anointed one said contraception is wrong. One thing that came up was sanitation. The sewage from all of these folks in the slums was drying out and turning to dust resulting in them breathing it in all day long. Such a lovely environment to bring up fourteen kids in!
