# awwwwwwwwww
YAY!
(, Mon 15 Sep 2003, 2:05, archived)
# I dunno,
you spend all day trying to work out your home network, you get drunk, you shop a squirrel and suddenly it's all clear!

Edit:

After looking at your profile, I commend your musical taste (mostly). I saw most of the bands you saw at Leeds. Did you not think the Ataris' required a better audience? I tried bouncing like a loon, but I was looked at in a harsh way by a twelve year old.

# eggs-act-lee!
squirrels rule!
(, Mon 15 Sep 2003, 2:10, archived)
# ohh
The Ataris are from where I work at, one of my workmates used to know them personally.
(, Mon 15 Sep 2003, 2:26, archived)
# The Ataris fucking ruled!
The crowd they had was pretty good I though! but I did have to go STRAIGHT away 'cause a bottle of piss got throw into the crowd and splashed my arms...so I went to wash, change and couldn't be arsed going back into the arena so I sat there with my cold just suffering and talking to the people in the tents around me and set a fire while sitting back and watching the other fires and explosions...which rocked! (Yellow B)
(, Mon 15 Sep 2003, 2:27, archived)
# Our tent
was right in front of the fire ("On the Hill! On the Hill!"). You should have seen the crater in the morning. It was like the feckin' moon!
(, Mon 15 Sep 2003, 2:30, archived)
# You weren't too far from us then
'cause we were just oposit that!...I did see the hole, it was awesome!...I even ran down to help try and pull that telegraph poll down...I felt like being a rebel...GGRRRRRR!...

I was camping near the all night bong shop that played REALLY loud reggea ALL fucking night...except for Saturday, when they seemed to be playing porn music!
(, Mon 15 Sep 2003, 2:34, archived)
# I saw the pole!
I did wonder what would happen when someone broke the electrical cabling... :)

Review: Dissapointed at not seeing Serafin, delighted at moshing with Blink, in awe at Mr Albarns' festival finale set.
(, Mon 15 Sep 2003, 2:42, archived)
# I fucking hate blur!:)
I would have gone to Reading just to see him fall off the stage...the plonka!

The electric cable did get snapped!...did you notice that the whole campsite had lights except for us?...

It was a cool night though, laying there in fear, just waiting for your tent to set on fire!
(, Mon 15 Sep 2003, 2:48, archived)
# The last night was quiet
compared to the Bin Night...

Blur was My First Band. A mate of mine hated it, but I loved it. He's getting on a bit now though- took him ages to get back on stage when he came down!
(, Mon 15 Sep 2003, 2:53, archived)
# The first night?
When everyone turned the bins over and hit them all night long?...That all started from someone tripping over a bin (drunk) kicking it, and then standing there banging it...others just joined in...it was good watching the band grow...ACROSS THE WHOLE SITE!
(, Mon 15 Sep 2003, 2:59, archived)
# I was in my tent.
That was my mistake- they spent all night outside. Tent was wrecked.
(, Mon 15 Sep 2003, 3:04, archived)
# Mine managed to stay upright
the whole weekend...there was no trouble near me atall...it was on the otherside of the path (your bit)
(, Mon 15 Sep 2003, 3:06, archived)
# so it's not just me
who hates the darkness but fucking loves the Ataris!

nobody noticed the reference the first time i posted this a year back...

I was stuck in front of a couple of pricks who were only there for Metallica and hated every other band and were bloody vocal about it - but that bothered me not.

Leeds was cool though - I was the stoned one teaching children to say 'wankbadgers', trying to get a mexican-wave style chant of said word going and at one point I ended up in one of the barrels going down the hill. (was camped near the entrance - i forget which campsite it was)

(, Mon 15 Sep 2003, 3:05, archived)
# hehehe class!
I didn't think much of Metallica...mind, I was in ALOT of pain from standing up all day!

I actualy miss my Cheese Burger and bottle of Fanta for breakfast:)
(, Mon 15 Sep 2003, 3:08, archived)
# Didn't bother with Metallica
A lot of people seemed to leave their gig early though.
(, Mon 15 Sep 2003, 3:11, archived)
# my survival technique involved
a big bottle of cheap redbull clone from tesco and a joint every morning. added bonus with that is you don't need to brave those papillion-esque toilets
(, Mon 15 Sep 2003, 3:12, archived)
# I had a good shit
before I left home so I wouldn't need one all weekend...

I didn't find the toilets that bad...they did stick like fuck, but didn't make me feel sick. I watched 2 people come out the toilets and instantly puke!...on the floor! there was a fucking toilet behind them:)
(, Mon 15 Sep 2003, 3:18, archived)
# they were clean enough
it's just disturbing trying to piss when your face-to-face with some random bloke.

and from the rough calculations going on in my brain at the time by all rights I should technically have been pissing on his foot
(, Mon 15 Sep 2003, 3:20, archived)
# I was worried by tha fact
that if you pissed in the daytime, you could see a reflection of whoever was pissing opposite you..
(, Mon 15 Sep 2003, 3:24, archived)
# I never noticed that!
Mind you, I was always trying to piss as hard as I could to try and break up someones piece of shit!...I actualy managed to chop one in half!...yes, I am that weird!
(, Mon 15 Sep 2003, 3:27, archived)
# I kept expecting
a head to pop up like some one was hiding from the nazis

a couple of times I was standing there laughing and getting funny looks off the person next to me!...
(, Mon 15 Sep 2003, 3:26, archived)
# i got a funny look
for screaming 'holy fuck! I've lost my cock!'

edit: I just look at your profile Az, nice taste in music you've got there :)
(, Mon 15 Sep 2003, 3:28, archived)
# I know I do:)
I wouldn't listen to it otherwise:)
(, Mon 15 Sep 2003, 3:30, archived)
