# I reckon Flash Gordon should be in everybody's collection.
Just so everybody knows who Brian Blessed is.
(, Sun 2 Nov 2003, 22:57, archived)
# FLASH!

AHH-AAAHHHH

HE SAVED EVERY ONE OF US!

(, Sun 2 Nov 2003, 22:57, archived)
# Avoid 28 days later like the plague
A terrible excuse for a film. How it can be regarded as a classic I'll never understand.
(, Sun 2 Nov 2003, 22:57, archived)
# i liked it
i sat through it thinking "hmm...it's okay, i guess" but then when it was over i really liked it. come on, it wasn't THAT bad.
(, Sun 2 Nov 2003, 22:59, archived)
# the opening scenes are quite spooky,
and it would be a passable TV drama, but it's no classic. Dr strangelove and 2001, on the other hand...
(, Sun 2 Nov 2003, 23:02, archived)
# actually...
remember a miniseries on itv a few years back called the last train? post apocolyptic type thing, but with less zombies.
oh, 28 days later soundtrack is fucking ace. nice and ambient, even has eno on it. oh yes.
(, Sun 2 Nov 2003, 23:04, archived)
# oh yeah, I remember that
wasn't bad, certainly on a par with 28 days, however as you point out the soundtrack was a scorcher.
(, Sun 2 Nov 2003, 23:07, archived)
# jolly good.
i am off for a sandwich and then bedways. ta ta.
(, Sun 2 Nov 2003, 23:08, archived)
# Don't get 2001
Cos it's over-rated shit.

# No
You know it's true.
(, Sun 2 Nov 2003, 23:09, archived)
# admittedly
i had taken a lot of drugs when i watched it
(, Sun 2 Nov 2003, 23:09, archived)
# Well
watch it not on drugs.

Load of old bollocks.
The only drugs I'd take while watching it would be a ton of heroin in the hope I'd die before the end.
(, Sun 2 Nov 2003, 23:13, archived)
# The book is better.
I should have read it after watching the film, as I would have enjoyed it more.
(, Sun 2 Nov 2003, 23:10, archived)
# Two copies of 28 Days Later
just in case you lose one :)

There. It's been solved.
