every christmas I get stuck at Newport station for about 50 minutes, it's the part I like least about the whole festive season.

I first went to Newport at age 7 - moved from the North East of England. I couldn't get over how hot it was in winter.

I moved to the South East of England at age 18, and for a while thought that global weather shifting was taking place, because it was no longer raining for 300 days a year.
