anyway, do they have scummy council estates in Cumbria? When I was last that far up north all I saw was lakes, walls, sheep, rainclouds and buff looking northern types with clay pipes

I think Bedminster has managed to put me off teaching in the lowest end of the schools achievement band. I'll have to apply for this one and see about the atmosphere of the place.

Be a bit different, going from a school with a 25% GCSE A-C achievement grade to one with a 100% grade. ^_^
