only reposting because it's the only thing I've ever done that I think was good
I was going to do itBut Delphi decided to be a goddamn fucking retard, turning what should've been a 3 minute start to finish piss simple job into 45 minutes of futile banging my head against a brick wall before giving up.
The really ironic bit is... I had the program running just fine - the hard part SHOULD've been the custom text (i.e. huge font) in a tooltip, but I got that in seconds. I managed to make the icon too. But for some fucking reason Delphi would NOT let go of the placeholder icon I was using temporarily, despite my deleting all trace of it from the program - clinging onto it with an almost supernatural ability.
Just goes to remind me why I've not written a line of code in the last 8 months or so. *sigh*
