# for chebb - here's the b3ta mug I made via cafepress
photographed but 45 seconds ago on my phone.

# That
picture gets about a bit, the last time I saw that I think it had the caption "Pass me the fucking syringe!". Cant remember who made it though.
(, Fri 18 Jun 2004, 4:19, archived)
# yeah - it's popular
some boarder made this version a long time ago.

B3ta is tattooed on the arm. Not clear in the crappy photo.

# Join the information age
and get a proper camera, ya big phone wielding fool.
(, Fri 18 Jun 2004, 4:23, archived)
# yeah I should
my last one was really really shite.

It would power down the batteries if I left it plugged in the USB.

Which is a design flaw and a fucking half.

# I think my flatmate
used to have a camera that did that but he went out and bought a very sexy Olympus C5050z. Its a shit hot bit of kit. I wanted one but I think they have been withdrawn and replaced with a better model. I'm still looking to get a digital camera myself. I'll probably opt for a slimline one like the nikon 3700 for ease of taking on a night out and capturing sexy laydees.

# Canon cameras are great
as long as you get a camera with a Lithium Ion battery you should be fine.

Canon has the best lenses though.

# What is so great
about Li-ion batteries?
(, Fri 18 Jun 2004, 4:31, archived)
# Li-ions recharge completely in about 1 1/2 hours
but will get a usable recharge in 45 mins. Minimal loss of charge capacity over time. Long life during use. Holds charge for ages when unused...

And yes, Canons rule. I've got a Canon 10D. It's one of the most expensive pieces of kit I ever bought, and I swear it's been worth every damn cent.
(, Fri 18 Jun 2004, 4:35, archived)
# also Li-Ions are able to be smaller
which can allow for a smaller camera... like my Powershot S100
(, Fri 18 Jun 2004, 4:36, archived)
# Powershots are great.
I used a little A20 before, low end of the range but a great camera for its size and price.
(, Fri 18 Jun 2004, 4:39, archived)
# i love my S100
it's old and sucks at night but i don't think there is another camera on the market that could withstand what this one has been through
(, Fri 18 Jun 2004, 4:47, archived)
# no memory effect
and they can be recharged any time
(, Fri 18 Jun 2004, 4:35, archived)
# Right, cheers.
I'll bear that in mind. And now I've had a good 20 minute run up to the moment, I really am off to bed. You can even call me names, no more f5 for me.

# the source pic is an old american propaganda poster from WW2
she's saying something like "Arbeit Macht Frei". if you got that i'm glad. no, she says like "work is fun" or soemthing because all the women were doing the jobs the men had left behind. damn, what did it say? my middle school history teacher had it hanging in her classroom
(, Fri 18 Jun 2004, 5:45, archived)
# Somebody
Once grafittied "Arbeit Macht Frei" over the entrance to the DSS office in Cambridge. Always gave me a chuckle when I passed.
