Actually I don't shave I clip it on number 1 with no guard. One hand on clipper, one on giblets, NOT easy. It's best to get someone else to do it

I do Number 3in the general area, then wet shave the dangly bits.
Getting someone else to do it would probably be good, but a) I'd have to trust them a lot (and after my last psycho ex, no way!) and b) if someone was holding my bits to shave them I suspect I'd take their eye out :/
