by the time they finish i've usually forgotten what they were for in the first place

I like eBay as a source of stuff to buy
But don't like it when people outbid me and make cheap stuff too expensive. Grrr. I'd rather people just close their auctions early and self direct to me cheap, as per my £50 20" Dell/Sony trinitron monitor.....
