[challenge entry] Ive got a pond at the bottom of my garden

apologies for crapness. I will be smoking something tonight, and hopefully that will remedy the situation.

edit: potatoshop pointer required. I need to make an image look like it has been captured by one of those military nightsights (you know, all green and stuff.) I know that there is a filter specifically for this in PSP, but wondered if anyone knew of one for Potatoshop? Or, a foolprof way of doing it with the standard tools?

# and the question is, what will happen when I do.
Its been nearly a fortnight now, and by the time I actually get it, and get home, it will be 9pm, after getting up at 6am.

will I
a) giggle like a child,
b)go an interesting shade of pale green, start sweating, and then go sleep, (may also include puking)
c)find that new NHS comedy on bbc1 funny
?

# aha
when in NJ recently I had a 10 day enforced no smoke period and then on the 11th day the local barman invited me to have a drink and toke with him and his girlfriend, end result was thebear standing outside explaing the stars to his girlfriend and talking a load of old twaddle! So, I suspect the result will be all of the above - make sure you have
a) munchie gear
b) alcohol
c) camera

good luck mon brave I know you can do it!

# About the nightsight thing
I had a bit of a play and this is what I reckon:
-Convert your image to grayscale, then back to RGB
-Add a layer filled with dark green and turn its opacity down to 50-odd percent
-Add plenty of noise. ABout 25% does it for me
-The End

# Night Vision
Try making the image green and adding noise to it?

Adjusting the level's will probably help too
