# chill...
Don't get so worked up about it mate. You're still relatively new
here and believe me, we've been going through the same thing for a lot
longer. You takes your chances on here. If they don't want to listen
to helpful advice or the odd comment when they should have read the
FAQ then it's their problem, not ours. We can't force them to listen mate, and what goes around comes around.
If they persistently do it, there are measures in place (i.e. naughty step/banning)
which takes care of most of the troublesome lot...

Rising to them and shouting only encourages them, we have no place to tell them what to do, merely mock and nudge them in the right direction with the odd inspired, witty and sarcastic comment
so cheer up :-)

In other news - morning all!

# I'd just like
to say in my defence that it was an off-the-hand comment. I do listen to advice, and I'm fully aware of the FAQ.

I edited, because I knew that Mr Toast was right, and felt it was marginally unfair with the whole "nazi" line of text.

# I wasn't having a go at you, don;t worry :-)
but watching a (hates to use the word) 'nazi' get riled on the board only encourages the plebs that push it.

In the 1 year and 9 months I've been here, the number of registered users has nearly doubled, so
it stands to reason that the number of plebs/cocknobblers/morons who use this board has
also increased - It's the calm, sane people on the board who need to help with a kind word or two, the odd bit of advice, and where necessary - sarcasm!

# apparently, 'offenders' on the board can get 'naughty stepped' by rob (other mods are available)
and have temporary bans for like half an hour or something...

If Lord Manley were here, he'd tell you all about it
